Nepenthe would have been the worst track on the album if it wasn't for Famine.

Famine is the worst for me.

Haxprocess, The Lines in My Hand and Slither are my favourites.

guitar is boring and this guitar part at 2:20 and 4:20 or so sounds really familiar

So this album is finally starting to gain popularity. I knew it was just a matter of a few years before those "ugh why isn't this metal why are there no growls blofgdsjsoihguf" trolls went away.

Everyone who likes this has done so pretty much since it came out. This album is getting more "popular" because its being used as a thread to discuss the new album until it comes out.

Well yeah, Heritage is definitely more popular because of the discussion about the new album here.

I'd say that has more to do with the immense anticipation for the upcoming album and less to do with an overall attitude shift towards the music here.

Also, because none of the issues with this record stem from it being a poorly written, contrived mess of an album irrespective of the band's previous history.

Yeah but since there isnt a thread for the new album yet, the discussion has taken place on here. This wouldnt be getting as many comments if the new one was out yet

I'd say that a lot of people judge this album because it's not metal and doesn't contain growls, so

they judge it because it's different and not because of the music quality.

This is a pretty good progressive rock record.

Yes and that could be another reason, but they underrate it in the process.
