The first 5 tracks are just unbelievably good, like how did mere humans write this.

I kinda dislike The Grain but the rest of this is too amazing not to 5 this. Simply incredible!

I hardly listen to metal anymore, but this band and Opeth will always sound as special to me as they always have.

Rik described this really well: "like watching stars rain down from an aurora while standing in the snow."

First three songs on here are incredible, counting White Mountain as the intro of Fire, Ice. Album is a 5/5 with Scars of the Shattered Sky at the end.

Yeah I generally like the drawn out instrumental passages (although some remind me a bit of Serpent which I know a lot of people dislike). The vocals and some of the verses are still kind of eh
