Woah man! That's even harder than tracks!!!!

Immediately Häxprocess' ending (from 4.53) and the bass solo in Nepenthe come to mind (the one starting at 3.48).

But after ''but still so precious'', when the most glorious riff ever conceived is introduced at 11.57 in Black Rose Immortal, OMG.

And that perfect switch up from 1.10 until 1.35 or so in When.

And 6.00 into April Ethereal.

And everything after 3.23 in Beneath the Mire.

And from 5.10 in A Fair Judgement, and especially 6.20 and what comes after (6.55 OMFFFGG).

And does all of the BWP t/t count?

~So used to losing all ambition

And struggling to maintain what's left~

Can relate a lot to the first line, but not at all to the second.

Everything on this album is pure gold man. The moment it played during a day of rain on the mountainside was the moment I 5'd it.

"Everything on this album is pure gold man. The moment it played during a day of rain on the mountainside was the moment I 5'd it."

That sounds better than my 5 experience, which took place in the suburbs.

Me: "The sticker on the front says "Best Metal Ever" and it seems like that could actually be true for once."

On first listen I know I liked it but it also felt very, very dense. Took a couple listens to become familiar with it but that day turned truly good album to something magical. The atmosphere was engulfing and the riffs came alive. Was a highlight in my life as a fan of music to say the least!

I read Aiwaz’s Opeth comments as if he’s an overly excitable child... that’s not a criticism by the way. I still can’t decide whether this is my favourite, or if it’s Still Life, changes regularly.

11 albums, all at least a 4 or higher is an unparalleled streak in music, at least for what I've heard thus far. I have full confidence in their new album.
