There's something reassuring knowing people still like this band so much, even if that can't really be me in 2019 - I have got back into Aenima this week though

I couldn't believe it was as bad as i thought first time so gave it a second go which confirmed it. The 3rd was to make sure i wasnt missing anything and the 4th made it half way through. The only reason I gave it that many shots despite not being a tool fan is i do actually have respect for their influence and this is obviously a huge release regardless but yeah...thats the last of it.

Only reason I peeped it at all is because I grew up with them. 13 years tho... This is too similar to their last 2 to warrant that passage of time. I just can’t muster up any fucks to give.

Down the line I can't imagine why I'd reach for this album before any of the first three...and I don't really revisit this band much anyway.



I will probably play my ten or so favourite songs by them a bit more frequently thanks to this week revisiting their backlog so that's as far as the legacy of this album will stretch for me - so something came out of it

My 1st was underwhelming (listen I mean, not girl and yap not a virgin here). I did passed he 10th (again,.listen...I fucked substanlly more). Definetely a 4-5 for open true Toll/ Lateralus fans.
