Paparo sounds GREAT with their soundworld...(definitely more generic, that won't be helped hah)

I'm still camp Will - but damn, nice.

I'm seeing quite a few people on YT complaining about the production on the two singles, but I just don't really hear it. Maybe the overblown, almost comical snare at times is a turnoff but idk it sounds good to me.

Well at least I'm not the only one

Doesn't the mixing sound off to you, Jay?

Like the volume of some parts should be higher?

Damn

Not gonna lie it doesn't sound as sonically immersive as Infrared Horizon or Labyrinth Constellation, which is kind of a bummer. But musically they sound better than ever so I'm conflicted. There's no way Marston missed the mark this time around... guess nothing in this world can be perfect.

Though I'm sure the album itself will kick fucking ass so I'll prob still 5 it.

Yeah, musically it's impressive as per usual, no qualms about that

But like I said, some parts sound too quiet or somewhat muddled even

I will be reserving my final judgement until after I'm done listening to my digital bandcamp purchase

there’s def some muddiness during the busier parts and the vocals could prob be a little louder. no issues otherwise tho. i love the slam snare lmao

Not my favorite Marston production job, but I don’t think it’s bad necessarily. I did think the first single sounded muddled at first but it became easier to understand on repeat listens.

Will's vox need to be louder agreed. Instrumentally this band is flawless but Will is on another level of talent.

He is seriously my favorite death metal vocalist ever, and its a bummer he sounds a bit quieter this time around. Can't get caught up over minor nitpicks tho, this is still gonna be absolutely insane.
