Sometimes you've got to laugh at how 90% of the comments on Sputnik is essentially just strangers criticizing each others opinions as though music is some objective, easily quantifiable art form (I'm guilty of this myself). This isn't my favourite deftones album by a long shot but I can see how it could be someone elses.

Definitely not, but Chino srsly need to give Carpenter some space for creative input. They've been doing the shoegazing/dreamy stuff for too long now, only this time is boring.
