"Underneath a sky of dust. A constant wave of tension on top of broken trust The lessons that you taught me I learn were never true Now I find myself in question They point the finger at me again."
I will not ignore!

We are too low with this one. Possibly the most iconic Rock record of the last 25 years.

Still probably the third best nu metal record.
LD 50 and Around the Fur are 1 and 2 and that’s indisputable

I was 20 or something when this came out but I 100 percent honest thought a lot of these lyrics were really good compared to say Limp Bizkit. I was still a punker and getting into early emo and more experimental stuff.
One step Closer and stuff :P Oh this is my December! in August.

Limp Bizkit sucks man, I know they’re like ironic now but I still fucking loathe them.

Limp Bizkit honks agreed

I didn't really like Korn much either (though they are ok I think as musicians and stuff). That whole era of music wasn't quite my thing. I think that's why I thought well Linkin Park these lyrics actually mean something other than just making noises and talking about the nookie. The only reason sometimes I may find a Limp Bizkit song okay is purely just wrestling nonsensory. And how yeah it would be fun to go back then and move forward.

Nu metal was the golden age of music agreed.

Kinda wild to look back on that era tbh lol. I'm not huge into nu metal, but I do dig a fair share of it.

for as much shit as Limp gets, they are actually musically very talented. John Otto is a stupidly good drummer, and Borland and Rivers rip hard
