Back in the day 'Chunk' from Goonies was and out and out fat fuck. There was no modlycoddling about it, no "you can't say that" no child support service to stop the exploitation of 'fatism' he was a blobby fucker and the world laughed along and we all just got on with it..
'Chunk' would be seen as perfectly healthy nowadays. Nowadays people think Grimes is great.

The spliced monster of j-pop and the cultural boon of ironic 80s retro revivalism that was 'great' for all of 5seconds and yet here we have an entire album of it which is still lapped up by the hermetically sealed hordes of fools.

Thing is I can imagine a mixture of j-pop and 80's retro being a pretty fun listen, this is so dull. That album cover should bring this up on trade description charges, makes it look like this will be interesting at least - it can't cash dem cheques. The cover should be a big floppy pink blancmange, all her merchandise should feature the blancmange and she should change her name to Lady Blancmange
Then I'd have known in advance this was not going to be my thing
