Considering Brad and Mike are now very firmly in control of the band's output, fuck knows where they're headed. Brad can't really be bothered to play anything guitar orientated anymore and prefers to remain behind the scenes in studio working with Protools etc, and Mike is completely heartbroken by Chester's death.
If I'm honest, I really want them to go down the route of a more experimental, moodier approach. Similar to One More Light in instrumentation, but far less poppy and more in the line of Robot Boy and some acoustic tracks like One More Light/The Messenger. I also wouldn't be surprised if they call the follow up album 'Chester'.

Nothing wrong with them doing that, as long as it's a different band.

I don't see the label taking them abandoning the Linkin Park brand lightly, regardless of Chesters death. They're probably under a contract of sorts to remain as Linkin Park.

I think the all around subpar singing is excusable cos this concert is moreso about remembering Chester than entertaining the audience and, yknow, not everyone has a voice that can even come close to matching Chester's. Except for that one Japanese guy who sang Somewhere I Belong, he's got one hell of a voice.

caught up to live now
not ashamed to admit I shed a tear when they worked in "With or Without You"
if only Taka remembered all the words, that performance of "Somewhere I Belong" would've been basically flawless
"Nobody Can Save Me" was superb too
they've done a fantastic job matching the guest vocalists to songs suited for them
