Maybe you should start considering believing in god without being a christian, I think people should just drop religion it's not like any one is particularly right and gonna get you into heaven that's just silly. Being a good person is you need. Religion creates conflict.

I don't think god is really a god, more the creational force of the universe that encapsulates all wisdom and is constantly helping humans and the universe to evolve, to constantly improve things. People should always try to do good, to try learn more and more as life progress; I think that itself is what great music or art expresses and why it is so important and awesome.
