I might be wrong, but i think the sound on this album strangely reminds me of Ved Buens Ende, atleast guitar work is somewhat has same schizo insanity and strange signatures. Except Ved Buens Ende has kinda black metal climax thingie, unlike Obscura which feels like one big mess of alien riffs. I think sound of this album can be reproduced, you just need to capture few extraterrestrial aliens, give them some LSD, full band setup with guitars and drums, and record this after torturing them with high voltage.

Length is perfect imo, it's the bottom of the downward spiral that starts in Art of Sombre Ecstasy.

This is such a weird album. I've listened to it so many times and still can't decide if I love it or hate it.
