"pronounciation"
proving your point. finnish is a hilarious language, though.
"took me so long to find out it wasn't pronounced bon eye ver"
same, and then I was always like what the hell is this "bonny bear" you talk about.

|
| |
I got it as "bon (like the French bon) E-vair" - so yeah, kinda sounds French to me. (kinda like d'hiver)
|
| |
You pronounce it like 'bon hiver' in french yea

Honestly I'd really like to see you in your natural habitat, just because I want to see whether you switch between British and French attitudes.

idk I feel like a foreigner in both countries and I'm treated as such by other people
I don't relate to general British attitudes at all tbh.
My politics probably fit the general French consciousness more than the English but I haven't yet
lived in France for any prolonged period of time (will next year) so I don't really have a strong
sense of belonging there either.
I don't really define my identity on nationality anyway (when i'm being serious) and I prefer it
that way.
|
| |
No British sarcasm? Lame.
And if we're being serious, any person who bases their identity on their nationality or heritage (particularly if they're younger than 40) they're a fucking moron. Also, what do you mean by general French consciousness?

simply that france has a more socialist culture than the uk and that I associate with it more but
that's obviously very generalised. a lot of dumbfucks in france. like any country
|
| |
France's culture seems to be similarly "polarized" like Germany's. (e.g. in terms of "right" and "left" influences)
General consensus I get is that Northern French people can be bit awkward for our standards, Southern French people are supposedly super chill. (too chill for some, apparently - my uncle always gets shit for being "too calm") Parisians are supposedly the biggest xenophobic dickheads on the planet.

'Parisians are supposedly the biggest xenophobic dickheads on the planet.'
I take it you have yet to visit Israel then
