Down are so much better than Pantera. Nola in particular shits on everything Pantera did.

Arguably Phil's finest, but shits on? No way! Down was never able to keep toe-to-toe with Pantera's finest outside of Nola. Power Metal? Shit, Budgie; everything is ass backwards now. Kidding, but Power Metal is cool.. really the Dimebag talent show!

NOLA crushes any single record pantera did. if you took pantera's 13 best songs they still wouldn't hold up to Nola's 13 tracks.

Down is great, but Phil even said it himself; Pantera was the finest band he played in. Seeing both live Pantera for me any day of the week. I really don't think Nola crushes Cowboys nor Vulgar..Outside of Nola is there even an argument? You're telling me any song off Nola is better than say Cowboys From Hell, Domination, or Cemetary Gates? Nah! Lol and I love Nola Pantera game changing - Down? Not so much lol

not disputing that pantera was the better live band ( having seen both several times) or that they have the better discog overall. just saying nola is better than anything pantera put out.

I have to go with Pantera on this one, and I fucking love NOLA.

But... but I came to talk about Black Sabbath!

But to say it crushes Pantera's finest? I don't know Dom; I'll give you it's a damn fine record for sure, but you lost me there lol. Either way I think the best is left behind for Phil unfortunately.. would like a new Down album or another ep? Not sure what they're up to.. Dewinged where's your rating bud?! I don't front the mighty Sabbath how silly of me.

tbh Jeff it's been soooo damn long since I jam a Black Sabbath album that I wouldn't be accurate rating it now. I've been plotting to go through the whole thing recently so let's see those ratings my man!

To be honest I don't even like Pantera much these days but I absolutely love Nola and enjoy Down's other stuff so it's not even a contest for me.
