how subtle of you. fortunately/unfortunately i could give a shit about lyrics, so i will be able to get past that and give the other 3 instruments a proper, untainted evaluation.

Yeah, I was the same. In fact, when it comes to aggressive music I rarely pay attention to the lyrics even now, unless they are particularly noteworthy. My view of the instrumentation wasn't tainted by the lyrics, though. I just think it's shit for the most part.

This has always been an album that people just liked/didn't like until MJ went off about the lyrics then other people who wouldn't have liked it anyways listened to it and attempted to convince people that because the lyrics weren't their cup of tea and this was skramz it sucks.

Would you be suspicious of my obviously arrogant remarks along with my hatred for this piece of garbage? Perhaps the fact that your mind is riddled with suspicions is a sign of your lack of ability to perceive the obvious.

War, has changed. It's no longer about nations, ideologies, or ethnicities. It's an endless series of proxy battles, fought by mercenaries and machines. War, and its consumption of life, has become a well oiled machine. War has changed. ID tagged soldiers carry ID tagged wappons, and use ID tagged gear. Nanomachines inside their bodies, enhance and regulate their abilities. Genetic control, information control, emotion control, battlefield control, everything is monitored, and kept under control. War, has changed.

War itself changes all the time, but the reason is always the same.
