Seeing Heritage live was life-affirming, yet I barely remember any of the songs. It was just a blur of pure awesome.

I really like its haphazard nature, its flaws, the feeling that they just tried a lot of things to see where it would get them.

Totally revisit if you feel like it! That's how I came to love it, didn't like it at all at first, but suddenly it was the right moment or something!

EDIT: ''jamming Nepenthe rn and when did the bass in that song's midsection get so monstrous''

THISSSSSSS! Mendez is really on top of his game here.

Sort of a bass solo. Per-fect moment. Love to hear more like this of them in the future.

Yeah, these songs are hitting me a lot harder than before!
And that bit is v cool, but I meant the groove that kicks in around 2:46. The tone on that is a lot...

Ah, gotcha, so much more obvious yeah haha! I guess I just like the one I shared so much I got distracted.

Yesss! They're weird little creatures these tracks, love them all.

I knew some songs from this one and I'm all in on the first 4 tracks...not so much the 2nd part though

"In My Time of Need" is one of this band's greatest works, full stop.

I ensure you guys I was acknowledging a beauty masterpiece of an album but tracks 5,6 and 7 did less than nothing on me. I might bump it to 4 as I figured this was to be a second part from Delieverance, that's kinda cool X)

I know what you mean DDD. This is good but far from perfect.

I'm going to throw out a massive hot take: I think I prefer Pale Communion to this.

I agree with you. Nothing on PC comes close to Windowpane obviously, but it is better overall. This drags a lot.

It might drag but I'm too busy getting lost in the atmosphere to care

I think Tri has the same issue with this album that I had with that Godspeed You! Black Emperor EP on first listen; he's thinking about it really cerebrally.

This might have a stronger atmosphere but PC is more varied musically and is a more complete record. This works with Deliverance but doesn't stand on its own all that well.

This stands incredibly well on its own imo
