So much of my enjoyment of this record comes from nostalgic value. I kinda get why people would 2 this. If you find it stupid that people 5 this is just silly though. The record is iconic, so naturally people will have fond memories about it not no matter the quality of the music. I have the same with Master of Puppets. Still get why people 5 it though.

Easiest 5 ever. A true classic in every sense of the word. If you don't like this, your taste sucks.

Plain and simple.

This record always has me confused. I think the instrumentals are some of the best in the genre, but I can't stand the vocals and the lyrics

Alkaline Trio is the shit

Welcome To The Jungle perfectly encapsulates my feelings on this record in general. The opening riff in particular is great, but the chorus is genuinely one of the most annoying things I've heard

This one is dripping with nostalgia, but even apart from that it's a flawless record to me. Everything fits together here perfectly.

"not sure why you tried to use it as a point against me then if it ain't an insult, fam"

It's not an insult, i just think you have a biased opinion about these guys, that's all. And what's worse is that you're trying to masquerade it as a valid opinion.

Judging by your ratings, I would say you're not into classic hard rock music, so what's the point of making a rallying call and try to "wake us up"? are you really that naive to think we've been sleeping this whole time? thank god you showed up, then!

I'll be honest here, i don't like hip hop music, not one bit. There was a time when i tried to explore it but eventually i realized it wasn't for me. That said, you won't see me rating hip hop albums or talking trash on the respective forums.

You need to remember a basic rule, it's all subjective. Just because you don't like something it doesn't make it any less good.

You can't single-handedly downgrade a classic, "fam".
