I took my girlfriend that also doesn’t care for metal to see them right before covid and she actually really liked it. They put on a good show and I was taken aback by how crisp their live performance sounded and all the instruments being quite discernible, good stage mixing

I figure this is the best entry point to DM there is. But I have reports of another friend of mine taking a GF and she thought it was A Bunch of Noise. More data points necessary

Hmm yea it all depends how you go into it. I think my gf assumed she wasn’t going to dig all that much but ended up being surprised by how engaged she ended up being. It was her first ‘real metal’ show, prior I had played Immolations Here in After (Immo headlined that same show) for her and she had lukewarm feelings towards it lol
