Idk I mean obviously they improved pretty much everything about their sound and style after Chasing Safety but I still find it a pretty good album. Most of the songs there are at least good, and fantastic at best. Think I 3.5'd or 4'd it.

That's true, it did pave the way for this, but it's still inferior by a fair bit. There are some fantastic songs in there though, Dangerous Business and Some Will Seek Forgiveness especially are up there with the best things they ever did.

everything about this album is perfect besides Sālmarnir (cool song that goes on for too long and gets boring) and then moving for the sake of motion (easily the worst song besides salmarnir on the record but it's still pretty good)
