It’s not perfect but it’s always hard to arrange tracks in an order they weren’t meant to be in. This works pretty well though, for me at least

I seem to be one of the few that likes both the t/t and Thousands of Miles : /
|

I don’t hate them like some, I guess this is more like an alternate version for me.

Just ended up cutting Trigger from the mix cause I don't feel it adds anything
This deeply offends me on a personal level

trigger is a total ripper tbh
in retrospect, there isnt a single song off the ep that i like more than the songs that actually made the cut. eve is the best song from the sessions overall tho

Lol that’s a bit of a stretch and this is on the low end of my Converge ranking

im still on the fence about the rating for this, on the one hand it rips pretty hard and when it hits hoo boy but on the other the staying power of most of the songs is very little

Album Rating: 3.5
Yeah I settled on a 3.5 for that exact reason. Some rippers and some snoozers

Thousands of Miles Between Us would have been amazing if it was like two and a half minutes long.

Yeah I was fucking disappointed in this record on release, and to be fair, it has been five years since their last record. But it really is pretty fucking good.
I'd say it's their fourth or fifth best

I thought it was awesome when it released, then swung to "meh", and now it's settled nicely inbetween; it's got some great tracks and a small number of ones I don't really care for. Overall a solid, enjoyable release.
