WHIPLASH!
i remember jamming this on LSD one time. They tell you not to jam metal on psychedelics because you’ll apparently “think of demons” and have a bad trip, but that’s dumb. Instead i teleported back to 1983 and had a badass thrash house party and we were basically moshing in the living room. We destroyed a glass coffee table when “whiplash” came on and it was hilarious…until we sobered up. Good times

ya I didn’t realize I had this so low tbh, thinking about it real quick it’s probably my fifth favorite.
I also don’t think I’ve listened to it front to back since high school.
And James peaked on Justice cmon guys get real

james has sounded great on everything except st anger tbh
live too he’s still got it, has a cool weathered tone now. really has aged well.

I agree with that. He doesn’t even really sound bad on St Anger he just got way too carried away with the way he pronounces shit and all that shit
If there’s anything that album needed it was a more simplistic back to roots vocal performance, and better production. It’s NOT the worst Metallica album
