The production the new album sounds fucking amazing, Kevin Shields has one of the best ears for sound in the industry right now by far. I can't wait to get the vinyl, 180g and a true analogue cut, going to be the best sounding record I own.
Music wise i'm really really digging this, its obviously not going to be anywhere near Loveless but anyone who was really expecting that is living in a fantasy world. Part of the reason Loveless is what it is has to do with how groundbreaking it was at the time. It's really awesome to hear more drums in this record, Bilinda's vocals are amazing as always, and well there really isn't anything to say about Kevin's guitar/bass playing and amazing tone that hasn't been said before
