I'm looking at other reviews and lists of Judas Priest on other sites, and for some reason, a lot of them say that this is like the third or fourth best Priest, and that Screaming, Defenders, Stained, and Painkiller are all better. I can understand Stained and Painkiller, but Defenders and Screaming? Lol, they don't touch this. I always thought it was common knowledge that Stained Class, Sad Wings, and Painkiller were the holy trinity of Judas Priest albums, or is it just Sputnik who really loves this album?

Tyrant and The Ripper are my favorites off this. Sorry, Victim, you can be everyone else's favorite.

Rocka Rolla is my #2. Their output after this unfortunately does nothing for me.

You might want to get that checked on. I think they have free screenings at CVS and Rite Aid.

I can hear what egarran is saying thoug, Priest was always evolving and after the late 70's their sound changed pretty dramatically, to a more metal hard edge, I like the whole catalog, I'm just saying, 70's priest is my fave period as well

Thanks.

It's not like I don't want to like Stained Class, but some mental defect is preventing it.

But seriously, do Sad Wings and Stained Class sound very similar to you guys?

It's not the first time I've seen the claim that if you like one, you must like the other.

In my ears, there's a pretty big difference.
