all their albums have completely different sounds though, while retaining some cohesive staples throughout the discog. that's what makes them such a great band
also this is a lot more interesting and consistent than campfire

i was listening to this the other day and staring at the album cover and realized howq perfectly it mirrored the concept of boards of canada.
that hazy, blue-green color with blank faces that all must have been smiling if you could have seen them. that's the best explanation for listening to something like an eagle in your mind one could ever give.
boards of canada is like listening to memories that make you happy but you cant exactly remember why, and it leaves a bittersweet taste in your mind.

ok realtalk though is there even a hint of a chance that i won't 1.5 or 1 this when given a proper listen? It's not like 2013 produced a slew of amazing electronic releases so might as well give it a try for lack of better stuff.
