|
| |
his s/t is almost as good as this...fck what a musician

Can someone explain this kind of music to me? I usually appreciate a thing or two about 90s bands, I even think U2's stuff is gorgeous, but I always considered Talk Talk the ultimate band for midwits hihi!

heard their whole discog up to this point and this is easily the best one, still gotta check Mark Hollis' solo
and an album by former members of the band? sounds promising
|
| |
Spirit of Eden is way better than this one tbh
|
| |
oh sweet. i think "mark hollis" is the closest to this one in terms of quality
|
| |
Interesting how this has way more rates than soe here. On rym they aren't far of.
|
| |
Woah rly. Weird - I prefer this to SoE by a small margin, but heard that one first and they're so obviously companion pieces that it doesn't make sense to miss either out

Spirit of Eden is a greater creative jump than this is (and has The Rainbow and Eden oh lordy) but this is much more emotionally distilled and more effective than the last few tracks on SoE which meander in ambience a bit too much
|
| |
But the last two tracks on soe are perfect and I Believe in You is one of the best songs ever probably.
|
| |
yeah i believe in you is like the most beautiful song ever. as a whole this is a lot better than eden tho imo. "mark hollis" is the perfect ending to his career
