Ai used in the arts is not a question, especially when a member of the band actively is and does the bands art. Ai shouldnt be used or replace human art.



I only use ai art for account pics or ttrpg characters because i cant draw for shit. If i was going to need art for something that is a commercial or released product for like a book, i would hire a person.

Like fucking everything, and I hate to bring this up, but the profit motive is what is making AI “bad”. It can be a very useful tool but the way we’re using it is genuinely fucking disgusting.



If you want to record a song, learn a fucking instrument. It’s not that hard, my dumb ass did it. If you want to paint, practice and take classes (or commission someone!). noises and images shit out by a fucking machine is not art. And anyone that thinks otherwise should shut the fuck up about everything forever.

I imagine their next album would be good but unless they drop something like Children of the Moon or Rhyme of Memory it wont be beating out some of the stuff from this year. Id imagine they are aiming for a Jan-Feb release

AI in the form of creating music or art from stolen work has no place in the heavy music scene. There's no swimming with "the current" when we are all artists or lovers of art. Every single band that uses AI receives pushback.
