They are playing the whole song.
Mikael sounds a bit better on this tour as well, probably cos he's been forced to practice the older tracks haha.

Awesome. Looking forward to the live album.
I'm impressed he can still do the old stuff. I thought those days were gone.

I saw them about a month ago. First time they were in my country (Croatia). The setlist consisted from plenty of older stuff as well as some newer songs. It's pretty cool that Mikael can still growl, I expected them to stick to their mellower side now that they're like 50 years old. The only downside were a few of his boomer comments about pop music being shit or something like that. Sounded a bit immature for a musician of his calibre, but whatever.

I read an interview where he was saying he likes billie eilish. He said he doesn't like over auto-tuned pop/hiphop and I'm with him on that

Also his boomer comments are mostly tongue in cheek afaik.

but yeah, they always play Deliverance t/t... guess if you had to vote for a track from every album, its an okay inclusion. I wish they'd play Black Rose instead as part of their regular sets sometimes... I know it's longer (and therefore less convenient), but still.

... His boomer comments about pop music being shit or something like that.
He’s been spending time with Steven Wilson I’d guess.
That set list is an improvement over what they usually seem to do but still leaves something to be desired. Is that really from fans voting for their favorite song per album? I have a hard time believing that Harvest and Burden would win. Cool that they’re playing Black Rose Immortal.

Yeah I was surprised to see Harvest and Burden as well.
Nice to hear that they play all 20 minutes of it.
Also 100% with Egarran, he's probably joking around, as per usual.

There's a really good weeping moon on the roundhouse tapes.

I really need to give post-watershed Opeth another try... I just keep adding to my "to listen" list and this keeps getting pushed back.

Under The Weeping Moon is awesome obviously, but Forest of October would’ve been a fantastic pick. In the Mist has always been #1 for me though

Can't go wrong with Orchid. All of the non-interludes would have been awesome.

Oooooh yeah that would have been so lovely! Weeping Moon was superb though. On Harvest now... Probably liked Eternal Rains most so far.
