Yeah, I’m definitely recalling why this wasn’t a hit the first time around. The combination of viciously raw vox, jagged guitars and bizarrely airy symphonic elements just irks me somewhat. I understand the synths are likely supposed to add something to the overall dark and frosty atmosphere, a touch of sorrowful melody perhaps(?), but I simply don’t enjoy the contrast.

Pity! Nice that you gave it another go anyway, it sometimes works and makes you go 'why didn't I see this before???!'. And sometimes it doesn't...
