Even though i despise the load/reload era, i tend to think that most people diss these albums mainly because of their hype and the negative aura that surrounds these records. If these same individuals had sat down and hear those albums without any outside opinions and with an open mind, they would be more positive towards them.

It's a pretty damn good album, just wish they cut some of the fat. Reload is like "well, we put all the good songs besides 3-4 on Load, so why don't we ONLY put 3-4 good songs on Reload to even it out a bit?"

I did, I heard Load so much when it came out, I felt that I istened to a lot of other classic rock band, so why bother, why I loved Metallica was over, but my record store guy told me that it is his fave album, so I listen and was pretty impressed, not the cliff era by any stretch but it has a good vibe and groove to it
