yeah it's weird how he put out 1 god-tier album and then 90% of the remainder was totally unremarkable. It's kinda crazy to think about the insane level of respect that exists for this dude when most of his music wasn't even good

ppl on the internet make too much of that Nastradamus - I Am period where he was going hard for mainstream appeal (and succeeding tbh). his discogrophy after that little blip is actually pretty good with Stillmatic being somewhat of a landmark in 00's hip hop
to most heads, he has 3 classics (one of them being the GOAT in a lot of people's opinions), a handful of good albums and 2 trash ones. u can see why he's so highly regarded
