For real, the "Punk Rock Girl" cover and "Hits Set" are essential BtMI. If you haven't heard them, you have to hear them. Evan Weiss also does a cover of "Need You Around" by Smoking Popes on the Scott & Aubrey Wedding 7" and it's amazing.

i know that he has every pressing of three cheers

This is fucking insane. Right now, it's basically impossible to get any copy of Three Cheers unless you watch eBay or Discogs like a hawk.

jeff rosenstock is a goddamn american hero. he was booked to play a show at my school but his booker didn't tell him or something, so the day before, he tweets "yeah, i'm not playing that show, never was?" which bummed out my friends. they emailed him explaining the confusion and told him they'd obviously still love to have him if he wanted, and he replied "fuck it, sure," rented a car and drove two hours to pennsylvania to play an acoustic show to basically me and ten other people tops who were into him. it was an amazing night

Yeah, most of his lyrics stem from that forreal, but dicks can still be nice dudes sometimes.

I don't think him singing about that makes him that way. He seems to have a lot of hatred towards the fact that he can be a dick.

I think that's more of a way of expressing his regrets for the mistakes he's made.
