the setlists from 1969-1974 and from the Discipline and THRAK tours were pretty good. The stuff from 2000 onward focused way too much on the 80s stuff and the random projeKcts.

I tend to notice him a lot more on Red.
There's a documentary on prog rock where Bruford was talking about how in order to join Crimson, Fripp made you completely abandon your old style of playing so you could create something distinct for KC. He definitely did that here.
