not sure i can agree w that there's approx. 4 songs here that are on DTGL's level and the rest are a lil bit below but still awesome

It really just depends on the day for me lol. Sometimes I like this better and sometimes I like DTGL better. I feel like I maybe have a sliiiight preference for DTGL though.

real talk its not a 3 i think i put that bc this album does this weird thing where from the 1st track until like, desperate measures, i can barely tell what song it is bc its just an all out sludge fest (which kick ass, but was disorienting for awhile)

"i can barely tell what song it is bc its just an all out sludge fest" ngl that's kind of my issue with most of the early stretch too, but to a lesser degree

yeah this was my first UO record i heard actually in like 2010 and my ears just couldn't comprehend how the first 3 tracks were SLUDGE SLUDGE LOW SCREAM SPENCER with like, one clean lyric part by aaron in track 3 haha.

i just, couldn't handle it. i needed some synth metal lmao.

now, i love this record front to back and know what's up.

yea after 13 years I can take two tracks and leave the rest from this. I was into DtGL when this came out and I wasn’t a fan of how compressed the guitars sounded, the pacing, and it wasn’t as dark as I hoped from the single.
