well, there's something we disagree on. i still think no heroes is kind of terrible. axe does equal awlwlb but they're at the top of their game on those. idk, i think i just prefer their sludgier stuff. jane doe title track is still one of the most epic things ever though

jane doe t/t is the best agreed. no heroes used to be my least fave verge along with halo but dude it's a hard grower. overall i prefer their early stuff to their new, more polished sound. axe and awlwlb are still great albums

I'm fairly sure that on any given day any one of 4 (When Forever, Jane Doe, No Heroes, Axe to Fall) is my favourite Verge album, but they all cane.

what's with the hate for no heroes? yes that album has a few duds (weight of the world, lonewolves) but most of it slaps so hard

Tbh I like it more than this. None of their albums stick out as worse than the others for me, they're all
fairly close (bar Halo).
Feel like this is darker and works more dynamically as an album, where NH is a bit livelier and more dynamic
track-for-track.
