Like it’s legit so insane to me that this man came up with Thaw at 20, not even counting the rest of this record. Fucking A man.
And he’s such a fucking sweetheart. I was at a show of theirs in Louisville (they haven’t hit my city in like 15 years) and I was drinking with these two brothers and they saw my tat and basically dragged my shy ass over to talk to him as he was packing up after the set. He took a pic of my Jane tat and put it on his story! Such an amazing dude.

I bought a shirt from him (and Jacob) at their merch table when they played in Calgary in 2017. Line behind me was massive (and I was kinda starstruck, like Ben is more or less my favorite drummer oh fuck and it's goddamn Jacob Bannon selling merch) so didn't get to chat beyond a few words but they seemed like a really nice and supremely humble couple of dudes
