I don't dislike any song on here but overall it's way, way too repetitive in sound. The songs don't do a whole lot to distinguish themselves from each other and don't really have their own unique flair to make them stand out. The first four tracks especially just feel like you're listening to the same song four times in a row. Also, it's just extremely messy. A lot of the songs feel unfinished (specifically X, Psycho and Shimmy) and don't really have a great structure. Psycho in particular is really repetitive and feels unfocused. Chop Suey! just comes in between two short "goofy" songs so that feels really out of place and odd. Always preferred their self-titled album. Although far from perfect, it feels like a much more fully realised and well-constructed album to me. You could probably improve this album by making it just 8 or 9 tracks and changing the sequencing.

Maybe we’ve all being hearing a different record than you all this time…
The pace of the album is great, there’s a lot of interesting dynamics and transitions, some songs like X for example have quite impressive riffs and with little running time they work very well. It is absurd to say that you could “improve” a record cutting 5 or 6 tracks, that’s a bit disrespectful to the artist’s intention.
But yeah, basically a matter of subjectivity as always with music…
