Sure, I can agree with the sentiment there - it echoes my point almost entirely. Some may not like the arrangement or general sound you mentioned liking in a record like this, but are much more into the "brutal" death metal you mentioned and any lyrical prowess of this isn't going to elevate it out of that canyon of unenjoyment

Yeah the groovy metal gist of this record isn't something I really dislike, I'm just not super into it, but the underbelly of cringe fuckin sequenced drums and imagine dragons-esque swag-rock is enough to make it a stinker that is definitely not crawling it's way out of that status
