Bat country is still the worst song of all time

Was it too many doses, or you not getting an attraction even on the first listen?

Not really into this band these days but this is one of the key albums that got me into metal, so I have to give it credit for that.

I think it might be because I played it on drums on rock band/guitar hero too many times haha. It's just unlistenable now. It's actually very fun to play but oh man does it suck.

BOOOOO
we can’t stop now, we’re in bat country. The only bad thing about that song is it inspired way too many fucking normies that don’t really listen to metal to get a dumbass “too weird to live, too rare to die” tattoo in the worst fucking fonts you’ve ever seen

Ya I love Beast and the Harlot but that’s probably not even a top 50 song from these guys for me lmao

A fun activity.
I might be changing my stance on Burn It Down. Time makes it prettier.

I think time has been real kind to this album. Mainstream metal classic tbh, songwriting here is too good to ignore
I really wish Matt sounded closer to his self titled/nightmare days on this. The nasally-ness has not aged well
