Bad religion rapes this lolololololol

Tbh I saw them once in download festival, their show was pathetic

And this album is at the same level of suicide season cut up. There is a hell and sempiternal are far from being perfect but those albums are pure gold compared to this lame attempt to make a mainstream rock album

"the difference between axl rose and bmth is that bmth has actually made good music in their career"

That was a dumb comment man. He's been involved in groundbreaking music, even if I hate the man.

And note how the band don't deny anything about the poster Betray.

right but it was probably a member of the bmth that actually made the poster up

look i get the point of the poster from a business perspective however douchey it is

everyone know that bmth are pretty much dicks but they bring massive amounts of fan revenue to anything they touch so lets be real festival staff would probably suck their dicks if it meant theyd come back to the fest

so if i was making a festival and a massive $$$$ bands camp came up to me and was like "hey my band hates it when security asks them for credentials and shit and its been an issue at other fests could i have your people not do that" i'd be like hell yeah

idk its 4AM probably looking into it way too much

Mate, they were groundbreaking. I'm not even a big fan of theirs, but they created music that is still highly regarded and used as infuence --and will be forever. It's like saying the Beatles are shit; you might not like them, but they were groundbreaking and deserve respect regardless of preference.

the beatles weren't hacks tho

lmao nah, I'll admit that there's almost certainly bands that I look up to that were influenced by GNR. At the same time though, they didn't come around til the late 80s and I doubt that they had all that much influence on most of the rock that I enjoy since then. Pretty much all of the elements of their songs are the elements I've disliked in trendy rock music of the last few decades, so I think it's fair to say that the popularity of GNR or ACDC is what caused rock to lose its art cred in the mainstream almost completely, dropping nearly to the level of bro country.

But I mean, that's just my way too jaded opinion on a band I don't really care for and have never really listened to that much of.

@wwf

You are sounding very elitist right now. lol I know what you're getting at with bands like DC and GnR, but that's because of the affect they had on people and pop culture. Taking taste and preference out of the equation, those bands have defined music that we listen to today. Though a much smaller scale, the same way Bad Religion defined punk, they all deserve respect.

My point is, I detest anyone that thinks they're about ground, but these fucks haven't even earned the right to be a bunch of prima donna, assholes. They've broke out with a contrived effort and pulled themselves into the mainstream and now they think they're it. And clearly show no respect for the people before them.

How the hell did you work that out? Your elitist attitude and disregard for bands that made groundbreaking music makes you sound 15, mate.
