I mean there are some great songs but Nattens Madrigal, first 4 Darkthrone or even more melodic At the heart of winter/Sons of northern darkness all seem better/more enjoyable than emperor to me

I like Dissection, Windir, Deströyer 666, Gorgoroth, Mercyful Fate, Taake, Bathory, Sacramentum.

Yes but you also 1.0'd Darkthrone's entire Unholy Trinity. That makes expectations of you liking Nightside Eclipse very, very low indeed.

People take offence easily. To me it was mainly puzzling, but now I see Burzum 1.5's, a Mayhem 1.5, an Under The Sign Of The Black Mark 2.5...
This puts things in perspective. It seems the more melodeath stuff (Dissection, Sacramentum) and Viking stuff (Bathory, Windir) is more for you, and the 1st/early 2nd wave BM stuff (aforementioned albums with low ratings) isn't.

It's an overall emperor thing, never got into the band, idk what it is, I feel the riffs don't do it for me. Today I listened to I am the black wizards, inno a satana (great songs ok) but got bored when going to the first songs of the album

this is pretty dense compared to other early bm, certainly took a lot of spins for me to love. i would say focus on the keys and the drumming to really appreciate whats going on. but yeah it may just not be for you, nbd

I dislike Burzum and Vark Vikernes in particular.
What is wrong with Those Once Loyal? It's an EPIC album. Bolt Thrower's best IMHO.
