"The sessions produced more than twenty finished tracks. Radiohead considered releasing them as a series of EPs or a double album, but struggled to find a track listing that satisfied them. Guitarist Ed O'Brien felt the material was too dense for a double album, and that listeners might skip tracks.[10] Singer Thom Yorke said Radiohead split the work into two albums because "they cancel each other out as overall finished things. They come from two different places, I think ... In some weird way I think Amnesiac gives another take on Kid A, a form of explanation."[4] The band stressed that they saw Amnesiac not as a collection of B-sides or "leftovers" from Kid A but an album in its own right."

So Radiohead themselves feel it's just as much of an album as Kid A.

I think I won.

Again, solely their opinion. How they see it. The fact is, from a factual standpoint, it's a B-side album by the very definition.

Fucking deal with it.

calling someone an idiot just because he's holding a serious argument to your statements is fucking idiotic

in its own right

who gives a shit if the band said this or that, how about citing their statements on these outtakes?

So if Radiohead labeled their next album as extreme black metal, would that make it extreme black metal just because they said it?

Good lord.

A serious argument? He's claiming that Amnesiac is a collection of b-sides when the members of Radiohead stress that it isn't.

After I informed him of this, he hasn't recanted his statement.

That's pretty idiotic in my opinion.

why does he need to recant his opinion and/or statements if you're not going to flat out prove you know what

you're talking about, and not just grasping at straws?

so, was this really worth it considering he bases all this off of opinion and taking the band's own opinion far too seriously?

Okay hear me out here: what if Amnesiac were to come out before Kid A, would you be arguing that Kid A is a b-side compilation?
