No I was referring to adr pointing out all of the albums he's came around to liking. Some albums take some revisiting so if he likes a lot more than he used to now it really doesn't matter.

I'd postit it has something to do with the fact that I've had major life experiences that have opened my eyes to things I used to think were lame (judgement by anathema is a prime example of this). I was also hating on this having not heard it in years. I assumed my opinions on certain things wouldn't change much so I never got around to re-listening to certain albums. At any rate, I'm happy I can find a lot to love in these albums now. Maybe I was being a little too cynical and closed minded in the past.

I still remember being 13, buying this from Nobody Beats the Wiz, and listening to that 25 second scream (edited or not) in the Grudge by Maynard. Blew my mind.

all albums you used to don't like are actually great/amazing, so it's a win/win situation, still find it a bit odd tho.. it's literally like "meh this is boring/bad 2.5" *2 months later* "omg best album ever 5/5". Like for real.

i mean that's certainly not true of everything. i could name hundreds of albums i can't come around to. i was being biased towards certain albums in the past, due to not getting the praise, or having heard it a few times years ago and not liking it without attempting to try it again. opinions change over the course of years, sometimes even months. i thought tomorrow, in a year was dogshit the first time i heard it and it quickly became one of my favourite albums

haha disposition jams with anything so I dont doubt it... but I was convinced it tasted like toothpaste for awhile... I came around to liking it in the middle of sex with an ex of mine but there's a bit of TMI in that story (:
