when it misses, its boring, it lacks anything to go back to, and it just sucks
thing is, i can't find a single point at which this album misses. when this was released, it was very wtf because it was so different and morbidly depressing. but as people began to adapt to more elctronic stimuli and came to understand the dystopian realities in this thing, as an 'objective' music critic there's virtually nothing to criticize.
by which i mean this is just a shitty bjork ripoff

i understand the concept and reason behind the album, and the atmosphere they were attempting to create (one that would support the albums theme of the apocalypse and a world in ruin) and it does that well, but I feel that even though the good outweigh the bad, the bad are REALLY bad imo, and still present, and drag down what could have been radiohead's best album.

im surprised you like it all seeing as how it experiments and twists normal songwriting and structure, and has ambient sections and we all know how you feel about anything that doesn't have a power chord and manipulation of the pentatonic scale
sorry for the rant but i hate your opinions!

you either like this or you don't, people are putting too much thought into this. the hype had
nothing to do with my eventual love affair for this. I had it at a 3 or something and was scratching
my head like you guys when it hit me all of a sudden one cloudly day in Ireland ("float down the
Liffey.....")
an absolute stone-cold classic in my eyes. probably in my top 3 of all-time. I do agree that a lot
of Radiohead fans think everything they touch is gold uncompromisingly, but this album is fucking
remarkable, hype or no hype. for me anyway.

best album ever

'For me OK Computer is better than Kid A and Amnesiac together'
If you took all the great songs from both albums I think a Kid A and Amnesiac ombo would be on par with most of OK.

band is clearly the best band to have ever existed. not my favorite but seriously these guys annihilate every single other band. including the beatles, tool, metallica, everything.
