I signed up just so I could post that, and I KNEW I would get a lot of flack for that post. I love
complex & strange riffs... huge draw of technical death metal for me. But I stand by my opinion.
Leviathan just wasn't as fun to listen to.

But everyone here seems to think that my stating that Leviathan is overrated implies I think it is a bad album... at no point did I say that nor do I think that. I just like their other work better.

used to hate leviathan though, it was a hard grower for me

yeah it's weird, i used to love everything about blood mountain including the vox and riffs whereas with leviathan i disliked both
but now i find the vox on blood mountain to be retardedly bad and i have no idea why I ever enjoyed them and leviathan is one of my favorite albs
