Decided to revisit this today. Pleasantly surprised. Album shreds! Anodyne, Parallels and Condemned are highlights.

man i remember when they released beyond our suffering and i was hoping they'd get heavy as fuck this whole album. tim's vocals are probably the best in that whole modern/mid 2000's metalcore scene.

Then again, I feel like this band have always blurred the lines between melodeath and metalcore

The bassist's cleans are so bad yet somehow still enjoyable.

Anondyne Sea is disgusting. How did they manage to take a boring generic metalcore breakdown and make it sound like a hundred anvils falling on your head? Tried learning the riffs in Beyond Our Suffering recently and that shit is HARD. This and An Ocean Between Us are still top-shelf man.
