No internet, no connection, no instant access, no 24hr news, no streaming, no ideas above stations, no hope, no idea, just a plain, hum-drum confused existence interspersed with bits and pieces of pop culture in which our heroes were unattainable 'aliens' and the heroes of yesteryear were ghosts.
Up stepped cobain unintelligibly screaming at us and yet nothing had ever sounded so clear. A generation rose up to seize the day.
In all honesty Monkey wrench is great though.

Agreed hard.
I still prefer In Utero, but Nevermind is also a superb album.

Whenever zak talks about Cobain it sounds like he found god in 91.
Also this "No internet, no connection, no instant access, no 24hr news, no streaming" must have been the best thing ever.

Ello Kris you nutcase. It was early '92 and I was in a daze. What's the most enlightening musical experience you have had dude?

The way you'd describe it? Pretty sure there wasn't any. Probably cause I really didn't care for music for the longest time, just as pretty much anyone around me didn't. So I was maybe a little late for a real eye-opener, can't say I'm even looking for one. Actually I don't know what an album should or could tell me to fall into that category.
