Years later...still an amazing album. I haven't listened to it except for the odd YouTube of Space For This in a at LEAST a year and a half. Now, going through it whole,..man. One of my top albums of all time.

Another masterpiece by the hands os Masvidal and Reinert. Any comparison with Focus may be rendered mute, when you consider the time-causality line of their musical/spiritual evolution. Listem to the new EP (Carbon-Based Anatomy), and try to draw comparison to Traced in Air. Its senseless. A band like Cynic cannot be rated with such mechanical trains of thought. Long live Cynic and their constant musical innovation and 'un-labelness'.

Hawks, that was back when I first skipped through it in pieces and didn't give it a chance. The day of its release. Let's just say my taste in music improved since then, and I never bothered to edit a useless number on some internet site.
