I don't know what I dislike more, this album or the guys behind its creation

Damn, how long have you been jamming it, MSLG?

I used to jam it many times back then and never got into me, now I've been jamming it again and I found myself in the same situation

I suppose I can't deal with the bad production, the "vocals" and the stupidity of its whole message/background

jam the instrumental version--it makes it so much better (if you didn't like the original version).

mmm, will do, instrumentation overall is pretty good, specially the drums

If you link the production, vocals and atmosphere to what was happening in the band/scene back then, they start to make sense. But yeah, it's not for everyone. Personally, it took me years to get into this one.

I think the instrumental demo has a better sound to it anyway if I remember right, so that makes it even better.

Yeah, I can see why some people see a classic in here, and it's not really the "satanic imaginery" that's my problem with this... I love Black Widow after all, it is just that the band members are pretty sick imo, and not in the cool way. My rating goes more by the music rather than its background though

I can understand how it can affect you. To me, these guys and their music were an extreme product of their era; a rebellion against death metal and its imagery with the shorts and shit. They acted like tough guys, but some of them took it a bit further while others were simply mentally ill. The album is more misanthropic than satanic, I think.

Wording it as 'too polished' is a bit silly
