Jesse was a shitty person around the time of YFW/Deja. He did seek help and become a better person, and has been for over a decade now. It makes sense if you want to hate him for what he did. It also makes sense if you want to forgive him. The music is the music, and it's good. Either separate the art from the artist or, if that's not how you roll, then boycott his music. I don't think anyone can argue that you must continue to be okay with him as a person, and in the same fashion nobody should be shaming people who just want to listen to the music and not get berated and called a pedophile sympathizer. Pages and pages of the same shit.

people who refer to Maradona seem to always miss the entire point of the song, which is that it does not promote the lifestyle it's about at all. I don't know how you can read the word choices used in the lyrics and not realize the narrator is being portrayed in a negative light.
