KEK, people care more about Converge merch than their tour dates.

Tundra rivals Colton for the site's most hilarious cocktail of low IQ, shit taste and (overlooked for both) brought up on the periphery of quote-unquote elitist discussion spaces like they're a sponge for exclusively the most asinine and toxic parts, respectively
bin shit
maybe I'll make it to the end of this alb this year

I have similar-ish tastes to Tundra (djenty prog metal shit), but if I ever get that sensitive or condescending about my music taste... please just ban me LMAO

I wish the prod on this didn't irk me so much, cause I really like Jane Live and Converge as a whole overall

dam whats your gripe with the prod
|
| |
prod here is perfect for abrasive tones done right - feels like it exaggerates the manic performances without (from the 50% of the record i orbit) ever supplementing em
polar opposite approach to the will putney school of jank mixing that we're stuck with today

Just always felt too abrasive, which is a shame cause I have no qualms with the prod on anything else really
|
| |
The abrasive production is definitely a huge sticking point. It turned me off for the longest time when I first tried to listen to Jane Doe. After listening to stuff like Johnny Booth, I might be better equipped for the album?

I’m not saying I’d prefer it, or that it’s at all necessary, but I’d definitely like to hear a “Jane Doe Redux”.
