@Ocean of Noise
One of my all time favourites, but I feel the same way. One of my gateway bands to harsh vocals also.

Underrated album for sure. The singles were everywhere for quite some time, but overall this album is killer

I consider Burn It Down a Radiant Eclipse's successor in terms of being the most annoying song on its record.

Seize the Day is awful. It sounds like something from their self-titled album.

Seize the Day is fine, but definitely the worst song on the record. I guess I give it leeway because it's the direct midpoint of the album, and basically the song that separates the two distinct sides of the tracklist. So it serves as a nice intermission or palate cleanser before the proggy epics that mark the second half
And honestly, that just speaks to how well-structured the album is imo. You have your fast, aggressive thrashers hooking the listener in while slowly adding more and more depth and complexity in the songwriting. So by the time you get to tracks like Sidewinder and The Wicked End, they feel surprisingly natural in the context of the record as a whole. I fucking love the way this album grows and evolves over time... it makes the 72-minute runtime feel like 45-50 minutes
